Renault range and what it means for your loan
Renault cars are among the more affordable in the market, so the loan amounts are smaller and a shorter tenure keeps the total interest low. Renault buyers can use Nissan Renault Financial Services or any bank.

A bank where you already have an account may offer a pre-approved loan. Ask both for the Key Fact Statement and compare the APR and total repayable amount, not just the EMI.

Tips before you finance a Renault
- Banks fund up to 80% to 100% of the on-road price; a 15% to 20% down payment keeps the EMI and interest down and stops you owing more than the car is worth.
- Most car loans are fixed-rate, so check pre-closure charges if you might repay early.
- Keep the car EMI to about 15% to 20% of take-home pay, and all EMIs within 40% to 50%.
- Insurance bought through the dealer can be added to the loan. You can buy it elsewhere if it is cheaper.

Frequently asked questions
What is the EMI on the cheapest Renault?
At about ₹4,53,000 ex-showroom, with 20% down and 9.5% over 5 years, the EMI is about ₹7,611. Your rate and on-road price will change this.
Does Renault have its own finance company?
Finance is offered through Nissan Renault Financial Services India Pvt Ltd (NRFSI). You can also take a loan from any bank or NBFC.
How much down payment do I need for a Renault?
Many lenders fund 80% to 100% of the on-road price, but a 15% to 20% down payment lowers the EMI and total interest. Check the funding limit with your lender.
Is dealer finance cheaper than a bank loan for a Renault?
Not always. Dealer schemes can be convenient and sometimes discounted, but compare the APR and total repayable amount in the Key Fact Statement with a bank's offer.
Which lender is best for a Renault?
There is no single best lender; it depends on your credit score, income and the model. Public sector banks often publish the lowest starting rates, while NBFCs may approve profiles banks decline.
